Envelope addressed to Verla Gay Sutherland from her son, Staff Sergeant Allen J. "Bud" Sutherland. The envelope containted a letter sent from France on June 25, 1944; It was postmarked on June 28, 1944 by the U.S. Army postal service. The envelope was stamped and signed by the U.S. Army Examiner Lieutenant Paul Larsen. The envelope is embossed with an orange 6-cent U.S. air mail mark on the upper right corner. |
