A handwritten letter from 1901 to Anty (Annie) Wilson from her niece, May Keohane. The letter reads as follows: "Dear Anty, I take pleasure to pen you a few lines hoping to find you and babey and Unkle well. Me and mother and Berty are well thank God. I was very glad to have a little cousin Anty. Dear Anty when mother received your letter she was Idle. Work is very dull here my mother frets about us when she is Idle. I have a good mother and me and Berty is very fond of her. I must close with fond love from your affectionate neese May Keohane with fond love from me and Berty to babey XXXXXX. Wishing you all a many and merry Christmas." |
