Handwritten letter from Allen J. "Bud" Sutherland to his family. Bud was stationted at Camp Barkeley in Texas at this time. The letter was written on a single sheet of plain paper, though the lack of signature and the last sentence indicates there may have been another part to the letter. In the letter Bud discusses training, upcoming training against the 358th, being forced to apply for "O.C.S.," leaving Camp Barkeley if he passes both board and physical exams, food packages, and being sick. |
