The postcard is a colored drawing the Wyodak Coal Mine. Mutiple different depths of mining is shown in the postcard. Spread around the surrounding area around the mine is electrical lines and plains. The black text at the top reads Wydodak Coal Mine, Gillette, Wyoming "Largest Open Strip Mine in the World." The Wydodak on the postcard is misspelled. The correct spelling is Wyodak.On the back of the postcard is handwritting that reads 4. There is also a red inked x where the stamp would have gone. In the bottom right hand corner is typed text that reads 7B. H1311. |
