Framed marriage license from the state of Montana for the marriage between W. Ernest Reece and Merle F. Peret. The license was signed by the Justice of the Peace in Hardin, Montana. The license is numbered 2675 at the upper right. The document is embossed with the seal of Montana on the center of the left side. This marriage license belonged to the parents of local artist and rancher, Dixie Reece.

Decorative Plate with black rim and golden fabric border. There is a felt figure on the front of the plate. The figure is a woman wearing a black and white hat with a white mesh veil and a floral outfit. Two pink flowers with green stems are attached to her proper left shoulder. The name "Merle" is painted in black below the figure. A metal hanging device is hooked to the top and bottom of the plate on the back.
