Brochure that unfolds into a map of the 37 temporary U.S. military cemeteries created during WWII in the European Theater. On the opposite side of the unfolded map is a smaller transportation map of Versailles and Paris, photographs with short descriptions of each military cemetery (including the number of soldiers interred at each cemetery), and a description of the war in the European Theater following D-Day (June 6, 1944).

One Cent coin from the Netherlands. The obverse has a straight cross with circles at the center and corners. A ribbon displaying the text "NEDERLAND" flows across the bottom end of the cross. The reverse is upside-down compared to the obverse. When flipped, there is a "1ct" on the left side and "1942 at the bottom. Four waves and a cereal plant are in relief above the date. The imagery and text on both sides are in relief.

A profile image of the Queen is on the center of the obverse, facing left. The text on the reverse is upside-down compared to the front. On the reverse: 10 / CENTS / 1919. The text is surrounded by a laurel wreath.

This geography workbook has an orange cover with cream-colored paper. The pages have been printed with black ink. The workbook is the companion of "Our Neighbors Near and Far", and exercises include fill-in-the-blank, matching, drawing, graphing, multiple choice, and more. This workbook was used by Jerry Morel, and while the workbook is copyrighted 1934, Morel was not in school prior to 1939.
