Bank of Sundance check made out to Louis Butler from the Moorcroft Ranche Company (brand AK). Dated June 5, 1890. Check no. 429. Signed by James Millar and Geo. B. Thomas. Endorsed on the back by J. L. Kaufman. NOTE: This check may have been paid to Lewis Butler for work breaking horses for the Moorcroft Ranch Co. Butler was well known for his bronc busting ability.
