    Box made specifically for a World War II victory medal. A label on the side of the lid (2018.029.0165a) says that it is from the Medallic Art Company, P.O. 2178 - 6/21/46, Q.M. Purchasing Office, N.Y. The base of the box (2018.029.0165b) has no markings or labels. Inside of the box is a sheet of cardstock (2018.029.0165c) that has blue felt attached to the front; the medal is pinned through the top end of this cardstock.
