15 1/4" x 4 1/8" x 1 3/4", combination monkey and pipe wrench (unique) wrench has a replaceable lower jaw "9,3,3". ADD: Partly wood in the handle, its heavy. It has green stain in the top & rusty. MONKEY WRENCH - nuts & bolts can be turned with smooth parallel jaws of this tool. It has an adjustable jaw which is controlled by a worm gear. It is an adjustable wrench which is rarely used today. It use generally been replaced by the adjustable end wrench which has a compact head & so is more easily used in confined places. A wrench is to grip different sizes of nuts. Monkey Wrench was invited by Charles Moncky around 1858. |
