    Three Pence coin. On the obverse is a profile of King George VI facing to the left. "GEORGIVS VI D : G : BR : OMN : REX F : D : IND : IMP" is stamped around the edge. "MP" is stamped just below the neck of King George VI. On the reverse is stamped "THREE PENCE 1942" around a three-headed thrift plant in relief at the center. The coin is shaped into a dodecagon (12 sides).
